How much payload can the Ram ProMaster Van carry?

For businesses moving from job site to job site the question of maximum payload in a transport vehicle is of supreme importance. The more payload a vehicle can carry the fewer vehicles are necessary to haul the equipment required to complete the job. The payload factor often governs the maximum bid a business can make on a job.

The Ram ProMaster carries a payload of 1,885-pounds inside its cargo compartment and another 150-pounds on its roof. The ProMaster’s best in class payload capacity comes as the result of several factors. First, the Dodge engineers reduced the weight of the vehicle by replacing steel components with stronger and lighter aluminum alloy components. Second, the engineers developed a unique suspension system that works in conjunction with new technologies to provide added payload support.

At Courtesy Chrysler Dodge Jeep RAM FIAT, we display the design features that enhance payload support in the Ram ProMaster.
