Dodge Charger continues performance tradition

The Dodge Charger has been one of the most popular performance cars on the road since it launched as an outright muscle car in the late '60s. When it relaunched in 2006, the Charger took on a more modern look and more practical layout, with four-doors instead of two, but built around the same muscle-car heart.

The current performance models carry on that performance tradition. The 2018 Charger SRT 392, for example, puts out 475 pound-feet of torque and 485 horsepower. The 2018 Charger Hellcat comes equipped with a supercharged 6.2L Hemi V8, 707 horsepower and 650 pound-feet of torque. That's serious power, and when it's coupled with the Torqueflite transmission, you get world-class precision, top fuel efficiency, with optional Sport Mode and paddle shifters.

If you're interested in how much power the Dodge Charger has in 2018, visit our showroom in Breaux Bridge to schedule a test drive. The team at Courtesy Chrysler Dodge Jeep RAM FIAT will work to help you find the right vehicle for you!
